Berlin Mitte 20 is a documentary web-series in production about Berlin, its people, and their stories. The protagonists of Berlin Mitte 20 are twenty-somethings/Millennials in/of Berlin, their relationship to the city, and their experiences and perspectives.
The project aims to capture the diversity and unique, multifaceted vibrancy of the city and its people - covering all lifestyles, backgrounds, social classes, ...
The point, however, is not to point wildly at our differences. It's about capturing and telling the little stories of everyday life - the search for a job, a place to live, for love, for meaning. For in these tiny idiosyncrasies of our individual lives, we really have a lot in common - because that's where our humanity resides.
Production for Berlin Mitte 20 is temporarily halted for the sake of the Depression & Anxiety Life Hacks but we have not given up on this project and will hopefully resume it in the late fall. Once the first season is done, it will be airing for free on youtube. Above you can view the pitch trailer we created for the "Your Turn Berlin Brandenburg" contest.
